Banijay Entertainment has unveiled the leadership of its newly combined sales team, headed by CEO Cathy Payne. This announcement follows the recent merger with All3Media and aims to integrate the distribution and sales operations of both entities.
Sales Leadership Team Announced
Cathy Payne will lead the Banijay Rights sales unit, supported by five key executives. Matt Creasey has been appointed Senior Executive Vice President, World excluding EMEA. Stephen Driscoll will serve as Senior Executive Vice President, EMEA. Rachel Job takes on an Executive Vice President, Content role. Shaun Keeble is named Senior Vice President, Monetisation, and Andy Dickens will be Executive Vice President Communications & Marketing.
Strategic Restructuring and Synergies
The formation of this new team is part of Banijay's strategy to "eliminate duplication" in distribution and sales, with a target of achieving €50 million ($56.8 million) in synergies within 12 months of the deal's closure. The company now boasts a catalogue exceeding 250,000 hours of content. Several executives, including All3Media International's EVP Formats Nick Smith and veteran EVP Press & Marketing Rachel Glaister, have reportedly taken voluntary redundancy as part of this restructuring.
Focus on Content and Growth
Rachel Job, previously SVP, Unscripted at All3Media International, is set to play a significant role in content acquisition for both scripted and unscripted rights. Banijay Entertainment Deputy CEO Jane Turton emphasized Payne's leadership and the team's capability to drive growth. "We have created a distribution powerhouse with the scale and capabilities to deliver growth for the group and even greater value for our producers, partners and clients around the world," Payne stated.
Upcoming Showcase at MIPCOM
Banijay Entertainment is preparing to present its combined slate at MIPCOM 2026. The offering includes new dramas such as 'Reputation' and 'Maya', alongside unscripted formats like '100 Knives' and 'Last One Standing'. Major global franchises including 'The Traitors', 'Survivor', 'Fear Factor', and 'The Circle' will also be featured under the unified Banijay Entertainment portfolio.
